His Excellency Kanbar Hossein-Bor, the British High Commissioner to Fiji, paid a courtesy visit to the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Service (TSLS) to discuss a proposed initiative aimed at addressing some of the pressing challenges faced by the youth in Fiji.
During the visit, His Excellency met with TSLS Board Chair, Ro Teimumu Kepa, TSLS Chief Executive Officer, Dr Apisalome Movono, and members of the senior management team.
The engagement provided an opportunity to explore potential areas of collaboration between the United Kingdom and TSLS, particularly in strengthening support systems to enhance access to tertiary education, promote youth empowerment, and support institutional development.
TSLS acknowledged the importance of strategic partnerships in expanding opportunities for Fijian students and reaffirmed its commitment to working collaboratively with development partners to advance national priorities in education and skills development.
