Cost Sharing Overseas PhD Scholarships Scheme with Australian Universities (39 Awards)

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:

  • Be a Fiji citizen.
  • Be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Service.
  • Secure an offer letter or candidature based on the eligible university’s requirements for full-time mode unless determined by the Service or arranged with employer.
  • Demonstrate the direct and applied relevance of the research study towards Fiji’s workforce needs and development.
  • Be less than 50 years at the time of application.
  • Not be an existing TSLS sponsored student or graduate (on active bond service) or sponsored through any other agency.
