Scholarships for Hardship Assistance Scheme (500 Awards)

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:

Be a Fiji citizen.

Be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Service.

Have attempted year one (1) studies privately and have attained at least a 50% pass rate in year one (1) or the preceding year.

Be enrolled in a Diploma Level 5 or Higher Education (Level 7) programme at an eligible institution.

Submit a programme audit confirming that you have attempted year one (1) studies as per full academic load requirements.

Be enrolled as a full-time student on full academic load and not be engaged in any form of employment.

Not be an existing TSLS sponsored student or graduate (on active bond service) or sponsored through any other agency.

Not have a combined parental income of more than $150,000 or business net profit of more than $20,000 unless approved through means testing.
