Scholarships for Equity Based Higher Education (Level 7) With Minimum Cut Off Mark Scheme (500 Awards).

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must:

  • Be a Fiji citizen.
  • Be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Service.
  • Have successfully completed Year 13 Examination in 2011 or Foundation Studies thereafter and scored a minimum mark as stated in the table below.
  • Be from a rural and maritime school under the clarification as per Ministry of Education zoning.
  • Secure a place at an eligible institution by means of a final offer letter.
  • Not be an existing TSLS sponsored student or graduate (on active bond service) or sponsored through any other agency.
  • Not have a combined parental income of more than $150,000 or business net profit of more than $20,000 unless allowed by means testing.
  • Pass in interview conducted by Ministry of Education is compulsory for Teacher Training Programmes despite meeting the Cut-Off marks.
