Merit Based Overseas Scheme

An applicant must:

  1. be a Fiji citizen.
  2. be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Board or delegated authority on case-by-case basis.
  3. be in Year 13 in 2023 or such equivalent studies as determined by TSLS at the time of application. An applicant who has completed Foundation Studies or repeats Year 13 is not eligible to apply for the Scheme.
  4. score 340/400 and above in Year 13 examination and apply in a listed programme for Overseas Scholarship.
  5. secure a place at an eligible institution by means of a final offer letter.
