Scholarship for Merit Based Tertiary Education – Level 7 Local
Scheme (700 Awards)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a Fiji citizen.
  • Be ordinarily resident in Fiji for at least three (3) years before the award commencement date unless determined by the Board or delegated authority on a case-by-case basis.
  • Be in Year 13 in 2023 or such equivalent studies as determined by TSLS at the time of application. Applicants who have completed Foundation Studies or are repeating Year 13 are not eligible to apply for the Scheme.
  • Secure a place at an eligible institution by means of a final offer letter.

  • Rural & Maritime Students - Aggregate score of 320/400 in Year 13 with a pass in English and the area specialization subjects. For MBBS cut-off will be 340 in Year 13. For Nursing cut-off will be 300 in Year 13.
