The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) is urging Year 13 students to complete their online
applications for scholarships. Processing of applications has started, and 2579 applications are complete for decision. TSLS notes that 7935 active scholarship application account has been created for 2024 academic year and 3999 applications are in progress of completion or incomplete. Certain scholarships for various programmes have quotas and will be filled from the highest mark to the last descent for those students who have successfully completed.
A large number of applications remain incomplete, as applicants are yet to select their choice of programme, upload final offer letter from preferred choice of tertiary education provider and upload essentially required documents such as birth certificate, bank details and combined parental income where applicable.
TSLS is reminding students to complete applications before the closing date which is 2 February 2024.
Processing will be done as per the eligibility criteria which is readily available for all schemes of scholarships.

Applicants are reminded that receiving an offer letter from preferred tertiary education provider does not
guarantee automatic scholarship as applicants need to apply under the eligible scholarship scheme for
sponsorship with TSLS. There are 9148 continuing students and these students do not need to apply online as they are already sponsored.
TSLS is also open on Saturdays in this peak period.
